Artwork description
A weather beaten order, a road black from rain beside puddles reflecting a pale sky. This scene is close to my home but such is so familiar that I would say its symbols more faithfully portray the British Isles than the overblown buildings of London which the media usually reaches for.
This is an original relief print. From a drawing I cut plates in rubber and pulled ten prints on Japanese Washi paper. The sheet would fit straight into a standard 8 x 12 inches frame. Please use the “contact me” button to ask a question or to make a remark.
