  Artist's description:

  Roses can be beautiful even when they're dead - when their scent is but a memory.
  
  These came from a bouquet of long-stemmed roses that my husband gave to me on my birthday this year. I left them to dry as I was intrigued to see what would happen to the colours when the petals became dessicated - I was not disappointed.
