The Elsewhere (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Ketki Fadnis

"The Elsewhere" evokes an imagined world that exists somewhere between reality and reverie. Through expressive mark-making, layered textures, and an intuitive interplay of colour, the painting unfolds like a landscape without a map or a defined horizon. Forms emerge, dissolve, and come together, inviting the imagination to wander beyond the familiar into a place that feels both unknown and strangely intimate.

Rather than depicting a particular place, the work opens a space for personal interpretation—a world shaped by memory, emotion, and possibility. It is an invitation to drift into the uncharted, where the boundaries between the real and the imagined gently disappear, and one is free to discover a place that exists only within.
