THE CREATION (2010) Original Oil Painting by Bruno Di Pietro

90 x 30 x 3cm (unframed)

£1,284.59

Triptych, oil on canvas on allubond base. VII Period - "Borders".

The VII Period, entitled Borders, represents a phase of research in which the artist explores the concept of limits and transitions between apparently opposing dimensions: matter and spirit, origin and transformation, chaos and order, the finite and the infinite.

Some works from the VII Period emerge from a profound reflection on the origin of the universe and the mystery of creation. The primordial boundary becomes the meeting point between the scientific dimension of the Big Bang — understood as the generative event from which space, time, matter, and life originated — and the spiritual dimension, in which creation is interpreted as the manifestation of a higher force. Within this dialogue between science and metaphysics, the symbolism of the Trinity — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — emerges as a unifying principle capable of setting the cosmic movement into motion and giving rise to existence.

The term Borders does not simply indicate a separation, but rather a threshold: a place of transition where new forms can emerge. Through some works of the VII Period, the artist explores these territories of transition, seeking to represent the moment in which the inanimate becomes life, chaos takes on structure, and primordial energy becomes form.
