Original watercolor painting "Svaneti" was painted from sketches and photographs from nature following the results of my cycling plein air travel across Georgia in 2019.

Watercolor on paper, 38x56 cm.

Svaneti fascinates with its views with bizarre towers growing like mushrooms after rain here and there. And each such tower has its own unique features and character.

Shown is a view of the capital of Svaneti, the city of Mestia, located high in the mountains. The highest mountain in Georgia, Shkhara, can be seen in the background.

The painting was made by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton French watercolor paper Arches 300 g
