Andrii Kovalyk is a highly talented and versatile painter. His specialties are seascapes, landscapes and cityscapes. His style is highly representational without ever sinking into sentimentality Mr. Kovalyk also happens to be communicative, friendly and kind. Most of his work is strongly representational; however, he also does colorfully intense semi-abstract still-lifes. To refer once again to his kindness, he is holding a large oil seascape until June when I will have the money to pay for it.

I really enjoyed ordering from Andrii. Communication was super fast, delivery was also much faster than expected. It was a birthday gift for a friend and she was very impressed with it, which I was incredibly happy about :)

I’m so happy with my purchase! Absolutely stunning piece of art and a wonderful experience communicating with Andrii. Excellent service, fast shipping, great communication BUT most importantly- the art is just above and beyond! Absolutely unique but timeless and gorgeous! Andrii Kovalyk's artworks could have many different interpretations and this painting is no different. Does this woman appear to fall through the sky because her husband is away from home in the war and she is feeling untethered to her "normal" life? Is she despondent because her boyfriend has been killed in the war? Is she living in another country and feeling lost because she doesn't speak the language of her host country and is out of sorts with everyday life? Or has she lost her ability to socialize during the 2+ years of the pandemic and so she feels isolated, albeit in the vast expanse of her world? I don't know and maybe even Andrii doesn't know, but this is a gorgeous painting of a woman in trouble and desperately in need of help.

That's right, sometimes the author himself is unable to express in words what he has subconsciously depicted, due to the whole spectrum of experiences and sensations that permeate the soul and heart every day...

This series by Andrii Kovalyk is fascinating for it's beauty and simultaneously for it's terror. The separate images of a man and a woman falling from the sky is both calming in the limp way the subjects' are peacefully falling, but what might look peaceful in the air, will certainly be horrifying when the end of the "Free fall" comes.

Andrii's series depicting the people of Ukraine in a free fall shows the emotional state the country is in. There is uncertainty about the future, uncertainty about the ability to maintain critical infrastructure and uncertainty over each individual's ability to survive the war. We can't see any of the subjects' faces, but the silhouettes of sadness make it very clear--they are lost, struggling with the fragility of their lives and in obvious need of assistance.

Andrii is great eye for admiring nature, but this latest series is quite different and has to to with the human condition rather than the beauty of the outdoors. These artworks reflect the helplessness Ukrainians are feeling as they live through the terrible conflict with Russia. It's just another example of how in tune Andrii is with emotions, feelings, thoughts and sensitivity.

There is a quiet stillness in the birch tree artworks Andrii has painted. The colors are exceptional and put you in the mood for rest and relaxation, but it's the sparseness in the scenery that I find the most comforting. Andrii is a very talented artist who obviously likes what he does. It's always great to see someone who truly enjoys his "work". Thank you, Andrii!
