This painting was created en plein air, inspired by a beautiful play of light I noticed just outside my home. I wanted to capture the warm atmosphere of a summer day, where sunlight and shadows become the main characters of the scene.

Painted with loose, expressive brushstrokes, the work conveys a sense of warmth, tranquility, and everyday beauty. It is built upon a golden imprimatura, which subtly shines through the brushwork and adds warmth to the overall color harmony. The edges of the canvas are painted in the same golden tone as the background, so the artwork is ready to hang without a frame if desired.

The painting is protected with a final coat of varnish.
