Its September, the garden is still looking full of colour but over across the meadow I see skeins of geese heading south to warmer feeding grounds where they will over winter. Its always marks the end of Summer which is sort of sad but also I enjoy these markers of the seasons.
The painting is in acrylic, it is impressionistic in style painted with a lively brush to keep it playful.
