Original artwork description
An oil on canvas painting inspired by summer in Andalusia Southern Spain. In particular an area near Almeria where the Finca we stayed in was the colour of soft terracotta and the garden was an explosion of pinks and greens. The softness of the light in the shade was cool and almost orange in colour. I wanted to capture this on the canvas.
This is the last painting in this series. An abstract expressionist style with gestural sweeping marks and layers of thin oil paint.
The painting is professionally framed with a beautiful slim white tray frame ready to hang on your wall.
