Summer (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Bea Schubert

Summer invites the viewer into a luminous, dreamlike world where memory and sensation dissolve into color. Aquamarine blues and soft whites form a shimmering atmosphere, punctuated by bursts of neon yellow, coral, and rose. A sailboat „llaut“ drifts at the center — weightless, unhurried — flanked by loose botanical forms ( branches of olives snd figs ) that sway like palms in Mediterranean heat. Gestural marks, drips, and layered transparencies build a surface that feels both spontaneous and deeply felt. This is summer not as a season, but as a state of being: luminous, fleeting, alive.
