  • Biography

"AbstractPop and Lust for Life: Bea G Schubert's Bold Vision of a Colorful World"

Bea G Schubert, born in 1959, is an artist who has not only seen the world but has absorbed it deeply within herself. Her artistic journey began at the renowned University of Fine Arts in Braunschweig, Germany, under the guidance of Professor Hermann Albert, where she learned the fundamentals of painting.

However, the true turning point in her career came after her studies when she decided to depart from the conventional path and spent seven years exploring the world with nothing but a backpack. This journey was more than just an adventure. It was a quest for light and color in an often dark world, a pursuit of joy and vibrancy amidst global catastrophes. The profound experience shaped her artistic vision and in the end led her back to her true calling: Painting.

Here, she found her unique voice and coined the term "AbstractPop," which perfectly encapsulates the essence of her art. Bea combines vibrant neon colors with everyday objects to create works that exude pure joy of life. Her preference for large canvases allows her to create a visual impact that captivates viewers. The overriding theme of her art is childhood.

Bea G Schubert, who has studios in both Nienburg in Germany and on the sunny Spanish island of Mallorca, has made a name for herself internationally. Her artworks are presented in galleries and at prestigious art fairs worldwide. The recognition her work has received from renowned institutions such as the German Embassy in Athens and the Chagall Museum in Vitebsk, Belarus is also impressive. In addition, her works find their place in important international collections.

For the future, Bea has grand plans. She aspires to exhibit her art in museums and in public spaces in Mallorca, spreading her vision of a brighter, more colorful world. Bea G Schubert is more than just an artist: She is a visionary who, through her art, makes the world a more livable and colorful place.
