15 x 21 x 0.1cm (unframed)
£97.61
Original artwork description
Strange Bloom is an original mixed-media work on handmade 100% cotton paper.
A vivid, imaginary flower emerges from a deep black background, somewhere between botanical form and unknown organism.
Layers of translucent colour, granulation, stains and delicate drawn lines create a richly textured surface, revealing small accidents and details at close range.
The intense pink contrasts with muted greens, violet and earthy tones, giving this unusual bloom a fragile yet almost otherworldly presence.
Each mark and texture is unique to the handmade process.
Materials used:
Gesso, watercolor, ink, gouache

- Mixed-media painting on Paper
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 15 x 21 x 0.1cm (unframed)
