Spring Awakening - Season Collection (2026) Original Mixed-media Painting by Fiona Grimshaw

From my Season Collection - Spring Awakening captures the spring richness of the changing season. Inspired by those light spring days when life starts to awaken after a long winter, and the landscape glows with green tones, the painting evokes a sense of comfort, reflection, and connection to nature. Layers of texture and create depth and movement. This contemporary abstract landscape works beautifully in calm, minimalist interiors and is ideal for collectors drawn to atmospheric landscape paintings. As part of my Season Collection its rich in texture, subtle layers, and fresh green accents, this piece invites closer inspection, revealing hidden mark-making and delicate details throughout.

Created on a cradled wooden panel, the artwork is finished with a protective satin varnish and presented in a wood floating frame which is painted in the Farrow & Ball colour Mizzle. Ready to hang, this original mixed media painting brings warmth, elegance, and a calming presence to any space.
