I began this painting years ago as part of a series where I challenged myself to avoid using lines. My background in sculpture has given me a deep appreciation for the line, yet I longed to create something more fluid and enigmatic. I've always admired these paintings for being more fluid and mysterious, somehow. In 2025, I returned to the canvas and finally completed it. To make the blue and red truly stand out, I chose oil paints for their richness and depth.
