Sleeping Cat 3 (2024) Original Watercolour by Asha Shenoy
28.57 x 13.97 x 0.25cm (unframed)
£139.66
Original artwork description
A watercolour sketch of a sleeping cat, after a happy meal!
Blissful slumber all curled up.
That's my 10-year-old cat Ammani who passed on 20th March 2016. A sorrowful day for me, she was my constant companion while I painted. I miss her a lot.
.
My beloved, talkative and affectionate Kuppu hasn't returned, missing since 27th Feb. 2024. I am praying and praying for his return but as days go by I feel my prayers are in vain. Tears fill my eyes, I miss him a lot. No cat can replace him, he was such a sweet darling. So was my Ammani. Some come into our lives to live forever in our hearts 💕 Memories bring back memories... it's so very true.
