Sinbad (2018) Original Oil Painting by Evelina Klanikova

Sinbad — Original Oil Painting on Canvas

“Sinbad” is an original oil painting inspired by the legendary tales of Sinbad the Sailor—stories of adventure, discovery, distant seas, and the unknown. Abstract, fluid forms in light blue, pink, and green evoke an imaginary landscape in constant motion.
I hope viewers will feel a sense of curiosity and freedom, as though they are beginning a journey into an unfamiliar world. The painting invites each person to discover their own story within its flowing shapes and shifting colors.
I chose oil paint because it can change and transform throughout the creative process. Colors blend, move, and develop in unexpected ways, bringing an element of unpredictability that reflects Sinbad’s adventurous voyages. The abstract style leaves space for imagination and personal interpretation.
