The second of three paintings of Ullswater in the Lake District, Cumbria. A place I paint often and visit as often as I can. The serenity the simplicity the natural beauty are all part of the make-up of this mesmerising place. A truly unique and magical place that is so very close to my heart. A place I go to unwind and relax no matter what the season. Simplicity really does heal, away from technology and distractions that stifle creativity and drive us to distraction.
Painted using gold standard acrylics onto a professional stretched canvas. This painting is framed in a floating frame and painted hopper head grey from the Farrow and Ball collection.
Sealed with an acrylic varnish to protect the surface of the artwork from light and dust.
