Silent Strata #2 is a contemporary abstract painting from the Silent Strata series, inspired by fragments of earth, stone, and time slowly accumulating layer upon layer. The collection explores the quiet beauty of gradual transformation — subtle processes that continuously reshape the natural world yet often remain almost invisible to us.
Organic forms overlap and flow into one another like geological fragments, eroded surfaces, mineral formations, or sections of an imagined landscape. Delicate hand-drawn linear textures follow the contours of these shapes, creating a sense of movement, depth, and natural rhythm. Soft neutral areas are balanced by deeper earthy tones and restrained color accents, giving the composition an architectural yet organic character.
Palette: warm ivory, soft cream, sand beige, taupe, stone gray, muted brown, dusty rose, soft mauve, smoky blue-gray, deep teal, charcoal, white.
Created by V+V Kniazievi, a mother–daughter artist duo and Artfinder Best Sellers 2025. Their artistic recognition includes Artist of the Month and selections for 22 curated Artfinder collections.
