This terracotta sculpture reflects on the perception of the body in constant dialogue with its surrounding environment. The work reflects on our physical and sensory experience, on how we inhabit space, and on how our body is continuously redefined in relation to it.
Its fragmentation suggests an unstable movement, a presence in continuous transformation.
The sculpture is composed of two separate elements, a lower part permanently fixed to a marble base and an upper piece that is placed on top of it.
