Secret Cottage Original Watercolour by Michele Wallington

This painting is of a cottage in a secret rural location in Cornwall! Like stepping back in time, slightly overgrown and very much nestled in the rural landscape. A limited palette of golden yellows, mauves and pinks bought down to earth with some splashes of sepia acrylic ink and hints of vermilion here and there. A lovely warn Summer's day hopefully reflected in my choice of colour. A few horseflies bothering me at the time of the original sketch not included in the picture! ;)

The painting is on Saunders Waterford 640gsm 'not' watercolour paper with a deckle edge that can be left visible when framing if preferred. The painting comes unmounted and ready to frame to your taste, or can alternatively be sold mounted (matted) and framed as shown in one of the photos for an extra charge, please contact me for this option.
