Scottish Heather Landscape (2024) Original Oil Painting by Suzsi Corio

This oil and mixed media landscape painting is of a scene inspired by a combination by visits to Scotland and also the Yorkshire moors when the heather was out.
It was made by using thin layers of oils, acrylics and inks onto a gesso ground. Areas of the painting were then lightly sanded and scratched away to enhance the texture and light effects.
The canvas is professionally framed in a white wood grain float frame & is ready to hang
