Original artwork description
An original painting on small 30x30cms panel. The painting is framed and ready to hang.
Framed size is 43x43cms
The bespoke wood frame is painted a soft white with an inner slip.

The predominantly blue palette is enlivened with deep russet orange colours. This was prompted by the colours of the autumn grasses in the fields. The expressive brush marks were used to convey the dramatic sense of wind blowing across the stalks. A subject partly inspired by my many visits to the Scotland, in particular the Hebrides.
The painting is shipped wrapped in several protective layers and is then placed in a sturdy cardboard box.
I always send my paintings by tracked courier for extra security.
