A loose sketch view along the river in Gouache paints on Arches Aquarelle cold press watercolour paper. This is a sketch with a loose feel in fresh colours. A relaxing view down the river to the bridge with the bright green bank of the trees on the left. The bridge in the distance and reeds in the foreground. I really like painting plein-air as it is then possible to create a freshness that is not possible from a photograph.
