Original artwork description:

My thoughts about the relationship between visual art and music continue, as I consider that rhythm is a fundamental element of music and that sound waves are themselves rhythmic. I created a collage of watercolor pieces--on Arches paper--painted in yellows, pinks and orange, which I then mounted on canvas and over-painted in oils. This painting has been given a satin varnish for protection. Hanging hardware is included.

Materials used:

watercolor on Arches paper, acrylic and oils, mounted on canvas
