Rest is a quiet place to pause.
Inspired by moments of peace I experienced while freediving, this work is part of my Deep Blue Garden series. The elephant resting in a blue bathtub surrounded by flowers symbolizes a sanctuary away from the noise and demands of everyday life.
In our busy lives, we rarely allow ourselves time to simply breathe and be still. This painting invites the viewer into a calm, dreamlike space where rest is not laziness, but an essential act of healing and renewal.
The deep blue tones, flowers, candlelight, and gentle water create an atmosphere of comfort and reflection. Through this work, I hope to offer a moment of quiet strength and inner peace.
