Red (2026) Original Oil Painting by Beata Belanszky Demko

A captivating oil portrait that combines expressive brushwork with a sensitive portrayal of the human face. Warm earthy tones, rich reddish hues and vibrant flashes of orange create a striking contrast against the muted background.

The loosely defined, gestural surroundings bring a sense of movement and spontaneity to the composition, while the calm, introspective expression draws the viewer into the subject’s presence. The interplay between detailed facial features and more spontaneous, textured passages gives the painting a contemporary, expressive character.

An intimate and atmospheric portrait that celebrates both the beauty of the human face and the freedom of painterly expression.
