Artist's description:

On this painting you see people in a supermarket in Los Angeles.

As a painter I'm interested in small recurring moments like this scene at Ralph's. At first it might seem quite ordinary, but after years of painting I know it's anything but. To me it says a lot about todays society and the way we see ourselves and interact.

I observe it, enlarge it and paint it. That way the scene at Ralph's is forever captured in a moment. Finally ready to be observed quietly.

Materials used:

Acrylic on masonite
