£3,114.97
Original artwork description
I had walked into this American roadside diner on a crisp, fading afternoon and found myself in a beautiful time capsule. The space was filled with the cheerful hum of a retro 1950s interior, the rich aroma of fresh coffee, and the comforting promise of breakfast served all day. It was designed to feel like a "home-away-from-home" for anyone passing through.
Amidst the bright chrome accents, a lone man sat by himself at the long counter, hunched slightly over his space and looking off to his right. In a world that is always moving, he now had no choice but to sit still and to wait to be served, taking a brief moment of quiet contemplation in a familiar, comforting place.
