Rain (2022) Original Oil Painting by Olha Laptieva

Rain changes everything around us. The streets grow quieter, the colours become deeper, and familiar places take on a special mood.
Through the veil of rain, the silhouettes of buildings emerge, their shapes reflected on the wet ground, while people hurry along beneath their umbrellas. Perhaps this painting will remind you of a walk in the rain, a meeting with someone you love, or a day when there was no need to hurry.
Sometimes, it is in moments like these that we feel a special kind of warmth — found in memories, dreams, and the little joys that make up our lives.
