A serene and absorbing oil landscape painting.
Delicate layers of soft blues, greens and purples have been gradually built up to create this quiet depiction of a misty landscape.
Loosely defined fields form the foreground, with soft cool blue fading into misty purples in the distance. Beyond is a blend of blues and greens, awash with the damp and misty air, merging land and sky.
Oil paint on stretched canvas.
Edges of the canvas left a clean white (see additional photo).
Strung and ready to hang.
Signed on the rear and Certificate of Authenticity provided.
