Primordial Gestures (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Novi Lim

My work is rooted in an instinctive exploration of movement, emotion, and the complexities of my inner world. I'm drawn to the interplay between sculptural movement and intricate elegance, where bold, sweeping gestures coexist with delicate linework, translucent layers, and fragile organic forms. There is something deeply satisfying about moving between these opposing ways of working, one impulsive and uninhibited, the other patient and almost meditative.
