Original artwork description:

Sept. 2023 Unframed/Ready to hang.. Abstract Acrylic Layered/Textured Painting (12 Layers). 20 x 24 x 1 in. Canvas. Use of a Palette Knives. My concept with this painting as with many paintings is to have a free feeling when I paint with the palette knives when I apply the specific colors to the canvas. With this painting-I took my time as I carefully applied the palette knife with the paints to see what patterns would form. I have used 2 Shades of Red, 2 Shades of Blue, 2 Shades of Yellow for the final layer. The layer underneath the top layer has a varied amount of colors that I used so the top layer colors would stand out more. I decided to create more detentions after applying the patterns with my palette knives. I started another process of adding boxes & lines over the top layer of the canvas. I started to realize I was feeling another instinct with a Primitive feeling. I used Gold, Orange, Red, Blue and Bright Aqua Green to to design my boxes and lines. I kept adding more and more and I was seeing a clear feeling for the final look of the canvas painting. The final results truly have marked a strong painting. I have 2 Vertical hangings and 2 Horizontal hangings. Felt pads on backside to protect walls when hanging. Use of a UV Gloss Spray Varnish coating the painting

I have placed felt pads on the 4 corners of the backside to protect the wall. And, so you are able to place the painting in 4 different ways. Golden Professional Archival Gloss Varnish Spray has been applied to protect the painting. Certificate of Authenticity included 1/1.

Lighting will be important for this painting or any other painting to bring out the brilliance of the colors. Also, Wall colors will be important for this painting or any painting. Play around with lighting and wall colors if you are able to do this with this painting or any other painting you purchase.

Note: I base my pricing on amount of time working on the painting, the genre, art supplies used, and Artfinder's % which is reasonable and good since they are promoting my artwork Internationally.

Materials used:

Professional Arcylics applied with Palette Knives. Painted on Gallery Wrapped Cotton Canvas. Coated with Golden Professional Gloss Varnish.
