In 'Poppies', I wanted to capture the joyful, wild essence of a sunlit summer meadow. Painted in fine layers of acrylic on canvas, this piece bursts with the vivid, passionate reds and delicate crimson petals of blooming poppies, interspersed with gentle white daisies and soft, feathery greens.

I used expressive, fluid brushwork to give the impression of flowers swaying gently in a warm breeze. The blurred, atmospheric background creates a soft effect, drawing all focus to the intricate details and radiant light dancing across the foreground petals. My goal was to evoke a feeling of warmth, nostalgia, and the effortless beauty of the natural countryside.
