- LILY NIGHT
- All Artworks
- Pomegranate#2
Original artwork description
Inspired by a wild Pomegranate tree in my neighborhood, this painting is a day dreaming moment of how it might feel like to live as a pomegranate. I have passed that street corner almost everyday to go food shopping, one midsummer night, suddenly there were her fruits. I didn't know that was a pomegranate tree, the dark red, pink, beige, brown, layers of colors of her skin shone like diamonds under the moon. So I made two paintings, #1 is more about the flesh of the fruit, #2 is more about the air, water and soil that have nourished her.
