In my works, I very often deal with philosophical and spiritual themes and questions, and I try to stimulate the viewer to think about these topics. Reflecting on life and, within it, on love, partnerships, attitudes and opinions, philosophy and other fundamental topics inspires us to find answers and perhaps even to correct what is holding us back.
Thus, many people who see my paintings, willy-nilly, become philosophers of their own lives. This painting is dedicated to all of them. The fish that the philosopher holds in his hand is a symbol of the Christian and spiritual foundations of philosophical reflection on the questions of life.
