Peak District Rugged Hillside
The Peak District was always a favourite day out in our family, and continues to be so. The wildness of the hills with rugged outcrops of rocks and a wind that could blow any cobwebs away makes it a place that lifts the spirits.
I've used pretty thick paint on this one emphasising the roughness of the land.
This small oil painting measures 6" x 6" (15 x 15 cm) and is unframed, but would fit into a readily available photo frame, as plain or as fancy as you like. Or prop it on a shelf as it is.
