Patio Andaluz (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Paco G Oria

46 x 61 x 0.2cm (unframed) / 46 x 61cm (actual image size)

£300.01

Sunlight pools on whitewashed walls as if it had been waiting there for centuries. Terracotta pots overflow with geraniums and carnations; their reds and pinks flare against lime-washed plaster and the cool geometry of azulejos. A fountain holds the center of the courtyard like a quiet heart, its water catching fragments of sky. Shadows of wrought-iron grilles and orange-tree leaves slide slowly across the tiles.
This mixed-media work on paper joins the transparency of watercolor with the denser body of acrylic, so light both soaks into the surface and sits on it. The result is an intimate Andalusian patio that feels at once observed and remembered: heat, perfume, the murmur of water, and the hush that falls when the street is left outside the gate.
The painting invites the viewer into a private outdoor room — part garden, part architecture, part memory of southern light.
