Storm clouds are rolling away, so these lovers can rise into a clearing sky.
He whispers to her, turning her body to gold! Two trees exude rising energy, in an X shape, to signify their love.

Available unframed ...

Painted in Derwent 'Inktense' watercolour with a highlight of watercolour pencil.
The painting was inspired by the intense greens in my garden, (see photograph) appearing more dramatic than usual against the dark skies of occasional thunderstorms at this time of the year (May).

I've used my favourite grey/blue Indian handmade paper, an acid-free cotton paper with a deckle edge. Its surface is slightly textured.

(When framing, it is an option to ask your framer to "float" the image if you would like the edges to remain visible; if doing so, please ask that the painting is kept from touching the glass.) A good framer will advise.

The painting is signed on the front, lower right.
