Antonino Puliafico is an Italian contemporary painter whose work explores the emotional force of colour, light and landscape through vigorous palette-knife gestures and richly textured oil surfaces.

Self-taught, Puliafico has developed a distinctive visual language in which impasto, rapid movement and intense chromatic contrasts transform familiar subjects into vibrant, tactile experiences.

His paintings move between contemporary landscape and gestural expressionism: reflections on water, Mediterranean light, trees, houses, gardens and urban views dissolve into layers of red, yellow, blue and green. Rather than reproducing a place literally, he seeks to capture its energy and emotional memory.

The palette knife is central to his process. Paint is spread, dragged and layered directly onto the canvas, leaving every gesture physically visible. In many large-scale works, even the artist's signature is incised directly into the fresh painted surface.

Puliafico creates one-of-a-kind original paintings ranging from intimate formats to monumental canvases conceived to transform architectural spaces. His works are held in private collections internationally.

Each original artwork is signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
