Original artwork description:

Liquidex pro & Golden acrylic colour on Fabriano artistico rough, acid free cotton paper 22 x 30 in., 56 x 76 cm.
I grow and breed orchids. It’s a small business for me. And I just love to see them growing wild on trees. To me these are living, moving sculptures swaying in the wind. This I try to replicate at home in my garden/nursery, and often in my orchid paintings. And I hope that’s the impression you get from this painting.
Again I use a loose approach to applying the color, more expressive and abstract in order to capture movement and the wind against a brilliant blue air. I want to capture the moment with a ‘splash’.
The richness of colour shows up well on this amazing Fabriano artistico rough, acid free cotton paper. The result is brilliant.
Close up photos let you see details and brush stroke. Then there’s me with the painting for perpective.
