This is a mixed media painting on stretched canvas created by building layers of oil paint, pastel and ink over texture paste and silver leaf. The layering of the different mediums allows a hidden areas to show through and pools of intensity of colour to occur.
Ocean reflections is a work based on memory, created back in my studio after watching rolling waves as the half light of day descended.
