Original artwork description:

OCEAN DANCE

Oil on 350 gsm canvas. I used a studio temporary stretcher while creating the work, the canvas will be removed from the bars and shipped rolled, making shipping cheaper and safer for such a large piece.

Stretching at your local framers, is relatively easy, and exciting. I've left a very generous edge to allow for this stretching and trimming. The painting can be stretched on a standard stretcher measuring 150 cm x 120 cm x 5 cm, which are often held in stock, avoiding the need for an expensive bespoke stretcher to be made.

"I'm fascinated by colour, the juxtaposition of selected hues which allows the eye to create its own illusion. A technique employed by many of the pointillist and impressionist painters of the past. This keeps the image lively and absorbing. Composed of many layers of paint and marks by my hand. It's a unique artwork you will own the only one, enjoy your journey of discovery."

The canvas was continually rotated in creation, this artwork may be displayed any way up, to suit your own interpretation!
