Chrissy Guest has a First Class degree in Fine Art Three Dimensional Design. Studying, fine art painting, metalwork,woodwork, fashion design, plastics, art history, and ceramics. Specialising in Ceramics and Plastics to benefit from learning a skill. She taught Ceramics for several years at a Senior level and sold her ceramics, before concentrating on her first love, painting. She now produces high level art with a uniquely recognisable style.
In 2010, She was one of six artist selected for Brighton Artist of the year, and this propelled her on to more and more success.
Her work was commissioned for two consecutive years, by the prestigious Bloomsbury Publishing company, to appear on the covers of a series of books, which continue to be published today.
In 2015, three paintings were selected for inclusion at Art House prop department, London, and have since, been hired out for use on film and TV, including the two Paddington Bear movie's.
In June 2017, she was selected as winner in an International Art Competition.
In 2018 a painting was purchased to appear in the next Disney movie scheduled for release in 2019. These are a few highlights, in addition, her work is collected by both corporate and private individuals around the world.
She is a Professional Member of Artfinder. She is passionate about original art, and has searched, through practice, to find her own unique voice.
She has been in a number of prominent Artfinder collections, and continues to gain selection for these, and has appeared in the top 20 sellers lists on several occasions.
Her work has been purchased by collectors in UK, USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Canada, Europe, and more.

ABOUT MY WORK
beyond the object and reality, I seek spatial awareness, lines of
movement, and indications. I'm intrigued with creation. Creating
uniqueness. Employing the techniques of years of practice, finding
newness, evolving, making my mark.

Paintings are signed on the reverse, but may be signed n the front , if requested.
I may remove a large canvas from a stretcher if requested to make international postage cheaper. If you are interested in purchasing more than one painting, please contact me to see if I can offer a discount on bulk shipping.. Wherever possible, I do recycle cardboard shipping boxes.
