Obsidian Pulse explores tension, rhythm, and movement through the interaction of material and geometry.
A textured microcement surface forms the architectural foundation of the work, while precisely arranged nails and layered thread introduce a controlled geometric structure. The contrast between the raw, mineral quality of the surface and the delicacy of the thread creates a shifting sense of depth, depending on light and viewing angle.
The work is part of the Resonance Series, an ongoing exploration of material, geometry, light, and perception through sculptural wall works.
