About Reza Arab

Biography

My work explores the relationship between material, geometry, texture, and architectural space. I create sculptural wall works using microcement, thread, textile, nails, and mixed-media techniques, bringing together precise geometric structures with tactile, organic surfaces.

Through my ongoing Resonance Series, I explore repetition, depth, tension, light, and shadow. I am particularly interested in how a work can shift as the viewer moves around it, allowing texture and relief to reveal different qualities from changing perspectives.

Each piece is developed individually and made by hand through a layered, material-driven process. Rather than presenting a fixed interpretation, I aim to create works that invite quiet observation and allow meaning to emerge gradually through form, rhythm, surface, and space.

My practice sits between painting, sculpture, and architectural object, with each work conceived as both an independent artwork and a physical presence within its surrounding environment.
