Infinity Tension (2023) Original Mixed-media Sculpture by Reza Arab

Infinity Tension explores the relationship between geometry, repetition, and tension through a dense network of hand-strung threads. Built across a large-scale surface, the work transforms simple lines into a complex geometric structure, creating shifting patterns of depth, rhythm, and movement.

As the viewing position and light change, different layers of the composition become more prominent, allowing the work to move between order and visual complexity. The contrast between the dark textile surface and the precisely arranged threads emphasizes both the physical construction of the piece and its sculptural presence.

Created entirely by hand, Infinity Tension is part of an ongoing exploration of material, geometry, and perception within my sculptural wall practice.
