Original artwork description
My latest painting features a female nude painted in a slightly abstract style situated within a grid background. It is a celebration of the female nude using a complementary and discorded colour palette. The purpose being to jar the viewer’s subjective experience. However, at the same time I also spend a lot of time planning my compositions and mixing and selecting colours to ensure the overall experience for the viewer is one of balance & harmony.
