I understand that most landscapes have lots of horizontal lines, but I was looking to create an abstract landscape with less of those. That’s because I’m a stickler for individuality. No Sé Bay has not a one. Even if you can tell what those shapes are, none are the color you’d find them in reality either. And that’s fun in my book too. I superimpose vibrant color onto what I can on the canvas, because deep in my psyche. I’ve got burning, hot energy, despite my being quiet sometimes. You’d never know. Comes with age. When young, I was just a blur, even though when I’d walk in a room you couldn’t help but notice. I’m apparently kidding myself, becasue people say it’s still that way even though I figure it’s better to be a little stealth! I think I’ll hike out towards one of those balmy chartreuse hills now… And No Sé means “I don’t know.” in spanish, so good luck finding me.

The deep 1-1/2" museum mount edges of No Sé Bay are painted as 3D extensions of the main image. Tillicum Lately arrives prewired, ready to hang.

Materials: Acrylic, Pastel and Charcoal on Canvas
