Movement (2025) Wood sculpture by Andrij Savchuk

Movement is a geometric relief artwork that captures the sensation of dynamic motion through its spiraling design. Composed of angular elements arranged in a circular pattern, the piece creates a visual flow that draws the viewer's eye toward the center. Inspired by natural movements found in whirlpools, galaxies, and other spiral forms in nature, this work embodies a sense of energy and continuous flow.

The black-and-white palette enhances the depth and contrast, allowing light and shadow to interact dynamically across the surface, creating the illusion of perpetual motion. The relief texture adds a tactile element, encouraging viewers to explore its shifting geometry from different perspectives.

This artwork is made from high-quality MDF, painted with polyurethane, and weighs 20 kg. It comes in a limited edition of 3/5, and the size of the piece is 100x100x6 cm. The artwork is signed on the back.
