An Acrylic painting inspired by a recent visit to Skye and looking out towards the western Isles of Lewis and Harris.
A slight change from my normally cooler darker paintings this painting was painted using a selection of warmer colours to reflect a warm summer evening.
I have used some texture medium in the foreground to emphasize the shoreline.
The painting is varnished in a matt glaze and is wire strung. It has also recently been framed.
